'unlock your potential' project gets mcls funding go-ahead

Actes Trust have received some excellent news on the funding front after being chosen as 1 of 7 Tees Valley providers to deliver on Middlesbrough Community Learning's 'Learning for Inclusion' contract. MCL’s Learning for Inclusion grant funding is awarded by the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA), as part of the devolved Adult Skills Fund (ASF) and its main purpose is to support learners into employment and to support progression into further education.

This was a very competitive funding round, with almost 50 local providers submitting applications. With this funding, Actes Trust will now be able to deliver 'Unlock Your Potential' - a short non-accredited training course that is designed to support people who have low confidence and low self-esteem to overcome barriers and rediscover their strengths so that they can get on the pathway to living more positive and rewarding lives.
