cam project helps whinney banks headstart students to 'go gold'

26/07/2024

The Climate Action Middlesbrough team from Actes Trust have recently helped a number of Whinney Banks primary school pupils to achieve their HeadStart Gold Award. The Actes Trust CAM team have been working with the school for several months to introduce the topic of climate change to HeadStart pupils , involving them in activities such as community litter picks and teaching them about water pollution, water wastage, energy, electricity and much more. The CAM team delivered 10 sessions in total to the school and are extremely proud of the impact these sessions have had.

Congratulations to the HeadStarters for receiving their Gold Awards and well done for becoming Climate Heroes!
