Climate Action Middlesbrough

Climate Action Middlesbrough (CAM) is a National Lottery funded programme which aims to facilitate reductions in Middlesbrough’s carbon footprint and encourage a change towards more sustainable lifestyles. We deliver this programme alongside a range pf partners including Middlesbrough Environment City (programme Lead), Middlesbrough Council, LINX Youth Project, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, Thirteen Group and various education organisations.

One Planet Pioneers

One Planet Pioneers was a project that aimed to develop the skills of young people through environmental activity. We worked in partnership with Middlesbrough Environment City, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust and Teesside University and a range of local organisations to deliver this five-year project which was funded through the National Lottery Community Fund's Our Bright Future programme.

Green Shoots

Green Shoots was a 14-month project involving Actes Trust, Middlesbrough Environment City (lead partner) and The Other Perspective, which engaged diverse young people, including refugees and asylum seekers to help them connect to nature and participate in practical action to improve our green environments.
